Imagini is based on an ideal.

 

On the belief that a photo you see printed on a paper should be true to the image the person behind that camera saw and to what was caught on camera.

 

But let's start with this: I am not a professional photographer. I like to consider myself as an intuitive photographer. I do not know how to work on Photoshop/Lightroom or any other fancy post production image program.

I don't need them and I don't make commercial photos. All the credits for those who do, I just don't have those skills.

Mine end somewhere at "maybe a bit darker" or "maybe a bit more contrast".

I don't add or remove anything, change colour, add effects, etc. to my photos. Any "effect" is done only with the capabilities of my camera and lenses.

 

At that moment, with those eyes, through those lenses... no one else saw it. The composition is what makes the image. "So what a leaf is also there? So what that cloud is weird or there is a bug sitting on the tile? So what there

is an extra boat on the water?"

For me, changing an image in search of flawless perfection

diminishes the value of that moment. And maybe it was just

not a good photo after all.

Maybe calming, maybe weird, maybe freaky, maybe beautiful, maybe you can hear it... or maybe you just like it.

If you have that, then that image should be yours. And yours ONLY.
